⚠️Fir Island residents: access to the island has closed as of 2pm today. This closure will be managed by National Guard personnel and access will be through identification verification checkpoints at each closure point. See notice below for more information!
Please note: The LEVEL 3 GO evacuation is still in effect for the designated areas of Conway and Fir Island. Evacuation is strongly encouraged.
⚠️FIR ISLAND CLOSURE ⚠️
Fir Island access will close at 2:00pm today, Thursday December 11th. The road will be closed at Fir Island Rd at Dike Rd and Fir Island Rd at Best Rd (Rexville Grange). The road closure will be manned by National Guard personnel and access to the island will be through an identification verification checkpoint for access at each closure point.
The LEVEL 3 GO evacuation is still in effect for the alert designated areas of Conway and Fir Island and evacuation is strongly encouraged.

The current evacuation shelter for the Conway area is located at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 1700 East Hazel St in Mt Vernon.
Fir Island cerrará hoy, jueves 11 de diciembre, a las 2:00 p.m.
La carretera estará cerrada en Fir Island Rd con Dike Rd y en Fir Island Rd con Best Rd (Rexville Grange).
