❄️WINTER WEATHER UPDATE 7AM – Due to continued icy roads, ALL Oak Harbor Public Schools will be closed today and after school activities are canceled. District administration assessed road conditions this morning and determined it was too unsafe for bus drivers, families and students to drive to school.
We know the changing weather and last minute changes are not ideal, but we make decisions based on the current weather and conditions of roads in our community. School closures and schedule changes are districtwide, even if your neighborhood is not severely impacted. Some areas of the district experience more severe weather and driving conditions than others.
We apologize for the inconvenience this closure may cause you and your family. Safety of our students, staff, and community continues to be the priority of Oak Harbor Public Schools when making weather-related decisions. Thank you for your cooperation and be safe.
