Staff Spotlight: Daniel (Dan) Verduzco
Let’s take a moment to celebrate one of Coupeville’s most dedicated, hard-working, and downright inspiring staff members — custodian Daniel (Dan) Verduzco!
Dan is the definition of reliable and caring. Since 2013, he’s shown up day after day with a cheerful attitude, nearly perfect attendance, and a heart full of dedication to both the school and the people in it. He takes immense pride in keeping our gym and secondary campus spotless — and trust us, it doesn’t go unnoticed. Visiting teams and community members regularly compliment how incredible our facilities look, thanks to Dan’s meticulous attention to detail and tireless work ethic.
Beyond his job duties, Dan’s impact is felt in the little things — like leaving kind notes on whiteboards, taking the time to chat with staff and students, and even crafting an epic playlist for the Resource Fair. He’s placed inspirational quotes on the gym walls to motivate our athletes, and no matter how messy things get (hot chocolate spills, anyone?), Dan tackles it all without hesitation or complaint.
His friendly, upbeat personality is contagious — and he’s always ready to share the latest Cowboys stats (America’s Team has a loyal fan in him!).
Dan, you’re one of a kind. Coupeville School District is beyond lucky to have you. Thank you for your hard work, your kindness, and the pride you take in everything you do. You make this place better every day.
