Staff Spotlight: Shelly LaRue!

If Coupeville Elementary had a heartbeat, it might just be Shelly LaRue, Administrative Secretary. She’s the go-to, the problem-solver, the glue that holds it all together—and she does it all with grace, care, and a Lotus drink that’s always just out of reach.

Shelly is knowledgeable, adaptable, dedicated, and—let’s be real—*magnivoyant. Whether it’s navigating the daily chaos of the main office, ensuring staff and families feel supported, or answering every question (before you even finish asking), she makes the impossible look easy.

From arranging staff coverage in a pinch to making sense of policies and procedures, Shelly is the one you go to when you need the right answer—fast. She’s built strong connections, mastered the inner workings of CES, and somehow keeps everything running smoothly even when the phones are ringing, the emails are stacking up, and the line of students in the office is a mile long.
