LEGISLATURE 2023-24: Committee hearings for Sen. Ron Muzzall, Feb. 20-26, 2023 (VIP)

In the 2023-24 term, State Senator Ron Muzzall (R-Oak Harbor) represents Republicans on four Senate committees. He is the ranking member on the Agriculture, Water, Natural Resources & Parks committee, the Assistant Ranking Member of the Health & Long Term Care committee, and is a member of both the Rules committee and the Ways & Means committee. He is also the Vice Chair of the Republican Caucus.

Feb. 19, 2023: Thus far during the session, the committee schedules have been pretty regular from week to week. However, with the first legislative cutoff last Friday, most Senate policy committees are taking the week off. The Ways & Means committee faces a busy week reviewing those bills which cleared their policy committees as well as those bills which were initially referred to Ways & Means. And while committee meetings are usually scheduled for two hours, the 9:00 AM meetings listed below are scheduled through 12:30 PM and will continue from 1:30 to 6:00 PM each day.
