WHIDBEY NEWS-TIMES: Filing to open for long list of local positions

Candidates who are running for election to a long list of Island County positions must file during the week of May 17 – 21. The Election in November is in an off year for federal and state races, but many positions in county, city and special districts will be on the ballot and are listed below. Note that nearly 30 positions in water districts that are up for election are not listed below. For more information about the filing requirements, the positions listed below, and the water district positions that will be on the ballot, please contact the Island County Elections Office at 400 N.
