The Town of Coupeville posted this to its Facebook page on Mon., June 9, 2025.
The Town is considering changes to our regulations to allow long-term residential or short-term vacation rentals on the ground floor of buildings in Downtown Coupeville. The Town is considering allowing those residential/vacation rental uses in the rear portions of buildings and developing rules to ensure traditional commercial spaces makes up the front of buildings while creating opportunity for building and business owners to fully utilize their rear spaces. The Town wants additional input from Coupeville residents, building owners, and businesses before taking the next steps in this process.
We would love to hear your thoughts, ideas, and concerns about this potential change at our Planning Commission meeting on July 1, 2025 at 6:00pm in the Coupeville Rec Hall (901 NW Alexander St.).
Please feel free to reach out prior to the meeting to ask questions or provide written comments. You can contact Joshua Engelbrecht (lanner@townofcoupeville.org).
