In the 2023-24 term, State Representative Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor) represents Democrats on three House committees. He is the Vice Chair of the Transportation committee and is a member of both the Innovation, Community & Economic Development & Veterans committee and the Postsecondary & Workforce committee. Rep. UPDATE: Mar. 26, 2023: The Washington State Constitution requires the legislative session to end four weeks from today, on Apr. 23. Thus, the legislators are beginning to wrap up their efforts. Wednesday is the Policy Committee Cutoff – Opposite House. This is the last day for committees to report out any bills that originated in the other house of the legislature, except for House fiscal committees and the Senate Ways and Means committee. That cutoff date is Apr. 4.
