LEGISLATURE 2023-24: Committee hearings for Rep. Dave Paul, Apr. 10-16, 2023 (VIP)
In the 2023-24 term, State Representative Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor) represents Democrats on three House committees. He is the Vice Chair of the Transportation committee and is a member of both the Innovation, Community & Economic Development & Veterans committee and the Postsecondary & Workforce committee. Rep. Paul is also the Deputy Majority Floor Leader.
UPDATE: Apr. 9, 2023: The session has but two weeks left and the Opposite House Cutoff is 5:00 PM on Wednesday. That is the last day to consider bills that originated in the opposite chamber, “except initiatives and alternatives to initiatives, matters necessary to implement budgets, matters that affect state revenues, amendments, differences, and business related to the interim or closing the session.” In other words, from Thursday onward, the legislature is working to pass their operating, capital, and transportation budgets before the end of the regular session on Sun., Apr. 23.
