State Representative Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor) sent out the following email from his campaign account on Mon., May 22, 2023.
Dear Friends,
I’m proud of the many local priorities that we accomplished in the 2023 legislative session, including banning the sale of assault weapons, ensuring Washingtonians have access to reproductive care, and lowering the costs of healthcare and prescription drugs.
While I’m working hard to ensure that your voice is represented in Olympia, it’s a very different story in other states. MAGA Republican legislatures across the nation are racing to eliminate access to reproductive care, rollback LGBTQ rights, and restrict voter rights.
We need a representative who fights for investments in our community, puts your priorities first, and whose voting record reflects the values that matter most to our community.
