Island County Board of Commissioners – Work Session

Topics of interest include: Public Works Director Bill Oakes will discuss proposals for signal improvements at Ault Field Road and Goldie Road; a report from Treasurer Wanda Grone; IT Director John Kent will discuss proposed improvements to the county’s website; Planning Director Mary Engle will present a proposal to move 20 acres near Penn Cove Road into the Public Benefits Rating System; Budget Manager Doug Martin will lead a discussion on the county’s strategy for using funds from the American Rescue Plan; Auditor Sheilah Crider will request signatures on a data sharing agreement with the State Auditor’s office, and the Director of Public Health / Department of Natural Resources will discuss several topics involving noxious weeds.
