Marie Shimada (D-Freeland), running for Island County Commissioner in District 1, sent this fundraising appeal by email on Sat., Mar. 30, 2024.
Hi there,
As Spring has (finally) arrived, our campaign is also heating up! We spent March talking to neighbors on the doorsteps, meeting for coffee, and hosting house parties. It’s been an honor hearing from all of you about how the county can better serve our community and the visions you have for our future.
To close out March strong, I need your help raising $2,312 before the end of the weekend. [Ed. Note: donation link omitted.] Every dollar helps us get our message out to voters across District 1.
I will be doorknocking in neighborhoods throughout the district next month, and can’t wait to see you out there! As always please reach out if you’d like to meet for coffee.
Thank you for your support!
Marie
