The Old Goats – Fully Informed Voters (a goal) – Luncheon with Island County Commissioner candidates

You are invited to attend the Old Goats Lunch Meeting on Friday, May 17th, noon – 2pm @ the Holmes Harbor Rod and Gun Club, 3334 Brooks Hill Rd., Langley.

Our co-Guest Speakers will be Wanda Grone https://www.wandagrone.com/ and Steven Myres https://myresforcommissioner.com/about/ , both are the only  Republican Candidates who have filed for election for Island County Commissioner, District 1. District 1 includes All of South Whidbey and most of Central Whidbey including significant territory north of Penn Cove.

The co-Guest Speakers at the Friday, June 21^st Old Goats Lunch will be Melanie Bacon electmelbacon@gmail.com,  and Marie Shimada info@marieshimada.com, both are the only Democrat Candidates who have filed for election for Island County Commissioner, District 1.

County Commissioners are the most immediate level of Government with Legislative authority over us. Accordingly, our knowledge of these four (4) County Commissioner candidates’ abilities and accomplishments may influence our votes in the August 6^th Primary “Top Two” Election between the four (4) candidates.

The Island County Commissioners elected on November 5th have the highest proportional probability of effecting ‘Local Legislative Control’ over our lives. The “Top Two” election results in the August 6^th Primary Election will determine which two of the four candidates move forward to the General Election on November 5^th.
