Oak Harbor Mayor Bob Severns

Oak Harbor’s mayor, Bob Severns, wrote a letter to the editor endorsing two candidates in this year’s city council elections. The mayor’s letter, supporting Shane Hoffmire over incumbent Joel Servatius for position 5 and Stephanie “Fe” Mischo over Dan Evans for the open position 4 seat, was published in the Whidbey News-Times on Friday, Sept. 24.

They Said It

Mayor Bob Severns: Most real estate developers and builders in our community understand the value of planning and strive to work inside the system. A few, however, prefer to bend that system through politics. This coming election could result in more than a few, it could mean a majority, bending our system. Mr. Hoffmire and Ms. Mischo are independent and knowledgeable. They are not in league with “outside special interests” and will look out for the citizens of Oak Harbor…
