Sean Haney, campaign manager for Island County Commissioner Janet St. Clair (D-Camano Island), who is running for the State Senate seat from the 10th Legislative District, sent this email to supporters on Fri., July 19, 2024.

Today is the day! Ballots are being shipped out, and our campaign is in full Get Out The Vote (GOTV) mode. A strong primary performance will impact the resources and attention our campaign receives for the general election.

If you’re looking for a way to get involved, this is it. If you’re new to volunteering with a campaign, don’t let that get in your way. Our campaign always provides all the necessary training and materials. Every super-volunteer(and every campaign manager) comes from making the decision to get started.

How You Can Help:

1. Door-to-Door Canvassing: Data shows this is the best way to earn the votes we need to win this race. We have two upcoming canvassing events hosted by organizations that have endorsed our campaign.

Please RSVP to attend on our events page HERE.

Canvassing Stanwood with Win with Women:
When: Saturday, July 27th – 10:00 AM
Where: Church Creek Park, 27205 72nd Ave NW, Stanwood, WA.

Canvassing Arlington with the Washington State Labor Council:
When: Saturday, August 3rd – 10:00 AM
Where: Terrace Park, 809 E 5th St, Arlington, WA 98223.

Starting this Monday, July 22nd, our field team will be focused on the N.W. Snohomish region of the district. The campaign will be canvassing every weekday evening and all day on weekends. Outside of the events mentioned above, we welcome anyone to join us at the doors whenever they are available. If you’d like to join us but are not available for the dates above, please send an email to [Ed. Note: email link omitted].

2. Phone Banking: We understand that not everybody is able to or wants to knock on doors. We have two upcoming phone banking events before the primary election. Please RSVP to attend
on our events page HERE.

When: Sunday, July 28th and Sunday, August 4th – 4:00-6:00 PM
Where: On Zoom, link provided upon R.S.V.P.
Phone Banking can also be done independently on your own schedule.

If you are not available on these dates or prefer to make calls independently, please send an email to [Ed. Note: email link omitted].

There are many different ways to get involved. I hope that you can take advantage of one or more of the opportunities listed above. If you have any questions or concerns, I am always available by email
[Ed. Note: email link omitted] or by phone, (360) 445-1309.

Thank you for being on the team, let’s go win!
