Wanda Grone (R-Langley), who’s running for Island County Commissioner, District 1, sent out this email to supporters on Tue., July 30, 2024.
Neighbors,
We are 6 days out from the Primary election. I know you’ve already probably received several pieces of mail trying to get you to vote for one candidate or another, but can you do me a few favors?
- Will you keep an eye out for my “Get Out the Vote” (GOTV) mailer and let me know what you think?
- Return your ballot. Find a or drop it in the mail today to ensure it’s postmarked in time.
- If you’ve voted, can you share the mailer with a friend or neighbor who hasn’t yet, and let them know why you (hopefully) voted for me?
The District 1 Island County Commissioner race is a crucial opportunity for us to elect a leader who prioritizes fiscal responsibility, fosters sustainable growth, and ensures efficient county government to deliver excellent service to our community. We can flip the Island County Board of Commissioners to a fiscally prudent majority! Remember to mark Wanda J. Grone for Island County Commissioner, District 1.
If you’d like to support my efforts to turn voters out in support of my campaign, please consider making a contribution. Even $20 means we can reach more voters with this mail piece. Click here to donate securely online. [Ed. Note: donation link omitted.]
Thank you for your support and I hope to see you in the general. We don’t need more nonsense in Island County, just common-sense!
Warm Regards,
Wanda Grone
