CAMANO: School Board finalizes 2025-26 budget

The Stanwood-Camano School Board met Tuesday, Aug. 19, and adopted the district’s 2025-26 budget.
Executive Director of Business Services Ruth Floyd presented the budget, saying the process was a long one with input from a variety of people.
“I just want to note, this is a culmination of a process that includes the work and support of everyone in the district, including the community,” Floyd said.
“Our promise is at the forefront of the work so that students receive the resources they need to thrive and be prepared for the future of their choice.”
The budget was created with a projected enrollment of 4,807 full-time students. The total budget is $115,857,884 million… Following the hearing, the board adopted the budget, and it will be implemented on Sept. 1.
