Particle pollution from seasonal wildfire smoke can have serious health impacts when air quality is unhealthy or hazardous. It’s important to recognize the signs and symptoms to protect yourself and your loved ones:

Respiratory Issues: Persistent coughing, throat irritation, and shortness of breath.
Chest Discomfort: Pain or tightness in the chest, especially during physical activity.
Worsened Conditions: Aggravated asthma, bronchitis, or other preexisting lung conditions.
Eye Irritation: Red, itchy, or watery eyes.
Fatigue: Unusual tiredness or weakness.
Heart Problems: Irregular heartbeat or chest pain, particularly in those with heart disease.

To protect your health, it’s important to reduce your exposure to particle pollution by staying indoors, using air purifiers, and avoiding strenuous outdoor activities when air quality is unhealthy. Stay informed and protect your health!
