Stanwood High School’s FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) chapter left their mark this week at FBLA Nationals in Orlando, Florida. Three Spartans advanced to the national event from top performances at the state competition earlier this year: Rachel Rahman, Brooke Berry, and Hunter Sparrow.
Brooke earned first place in Public Speaking at FBLA Nationals this year. The sophomore placed second in Introduction to Public Speaking at last year’s national competition. Brooke will serve as the Stanwood High FBLA chapter president for this upcoming school year.
Hunter was re-elected recently at FBLA State to serve another term as the NW Region Vice President. At FBLA Nationals, he competed in two open testing events: Fundamentals of Digital Media and Social Media Marketing. Rachel competed in Introduction to Business Procedures.
The three Spartans were among the more than 16,000 competitors from all across the United States.
Congratulations all!
