10 days ago, FF. Canty and FF. Johnston were dispatched with Brush 26 to assist Department of Natural Resources (DNR) with containing The Big Horn Fire. They have been since moved to assist with the Retreat Fire out by Yakima. Lieutenant Reinstra will be going out to assist with the containment of the Retreat Fire. North Whidbey Fire and Rescue is proud of our members who are out currently helping combat the Wildfires that are endangering Washington State.
