Come celebrate the holiday season at the Fairgrounds! Saturday December 2 at the Turner Building. Don’t forget to visit Country Christmas at the Coffman Building as well!
HOLIDAY at HOGWARTS: A Magical Event for the Whole Family
Get ready to experience the magic at the HOLIDAY at HOGWARTS event, taking place on December 2nd at the Whidbey Island Fairgrounds. This free, family-friendly, alcohol-free event is a must-attend for all fantasy fans and anyone looking for a fun-filled day out.
The event will begin at noon, right after Langley’s yearly holiday parade that starts at 11 a.m. You can come dressed as your favorite character or use your creativity to design your own costume. Costumes and cosplay are highly appreciated, so you are welcome to go all out and have fun!
Apart from the costumes, there will be hot chocolate and sweets available for purchase from Chef in the Black Bandana. Whidbey Ren Faire will be hosting wand-making activities for children, and Whidbey Island Music Portal is bringing Krampus!
The Fair’s Country Christmas sale is taking place on the grounds simultaneously, which means you can start your holiday shopping while enjoying the festivities. Be sure to dress warmly because the barn can be cold.
If you, your business, or your non-profit organization would like to participate by decorating a stall in the Turner Building, please email FGEvents@portofsouthwhidbey.com. Participation is free of charge, and it’s a great opportunity to showcase your creativity.
