Imagine: It’s been two days since you’ve heard from your 75-year-old neighbor. You’ve called and texted but haven’t gotten a response. They live alone. When you walk over to check on them, you find that your neighbor has fallen between the toilet and wall. They’re shivering uncontrollably.
What do you do?
Earlier this week, Paramedic Easter and several of our firefighters taught Camano Preparedness Group members strategies for identifying and treating hypothermia AND hyperthermia. We’re always glad to share our knowledge and make our community more resilient!
