The South Whidbey Record’s Kira Erickson reports that the Langley City Council is developing a resolution opposing the use of pesticides in the city limits. Mayor Tim Callison and council member Christy Korrow would prefer to ban pesticides, but the city’s attorney advised against it.
Council members Christy Korrow (position 1), Dominique Emerson (position 2), and Peter Morton (position 5) are up for election in 2021.
