Greenbank Farm Harvest Faire was a BIG success โ€“ and a lot of fun for all! Thanks to everyone who attended ๐ŸŒป The morning started out still with sun + fir trees’ reflections on the farm pond. The pace picked up as the day went on! Misty the horse delighted children with a chance to experience farm life. Petunia the pig returned for her 2nd Faire and showed us what a difference a year can make ๐Ÿ– Sixteen brave souls participated in the annual pie eating contest — congrats to 2024 champ: Gabe ๐Ÿ† The hayride was a fan favorite all day giving riders a tour of the flower farms and gardens. And dozens of face-painted children got creative in the โ€œbig yellowโ€ crafts tent ๐Ÿ˜ธ

It truly takes a village to produce an event like this, we have so many people to thank ๐Ÿ™ Food vendors nourished us. Island nonprofits educated and inspired us. Small business and artisan vendors gave us the opportunity to support their work โ€“ and our local economy.

Thanks to all of the Greenbank Farm tenants! The Greenbank Farm Wine Shop beer garden was awesome. Many of us watched the Seahawks win the home opener in the barn ๐Ÿˆ

We are forever grateful to ALL of our stellar volunteers and Port staff (especially Muri) who worked tirelessly through the day. We’re pleased to create a Whidbey Island tradition for our community ๐Ÿฅฐ

There are many more community events happening at Greenbank Farm in Sept and October — stay tuned here for info on upcoming events. See the comments below for more Harvest Faire 2024 memories!
