A 46-year fire career came to a close today as Asst. Chief Craig Helgeland celebrated with friends, community members, and past and present members of Camano Fire.
“Craig’s history here is really the history of the department in so many ways,” Chief Yengoyan said. “All the change that he’s seen, all the changes that he’s been through, all the changes he’s been a part of. And for me to reflect on losing Craig has been a real challenge.”
