Today, South Whidbey Schools hosted the Washington Association Of Maintenance And Operation Administrators (WAMOA)/OSPI/ Legislative school visits with Representative Clyde Shavers. They were provided tours of the campuses (including a ride between campuses on our electric bus) with explanations on the current building projects, improvements made though levy funds, projects planned through bond funds, and facility issues surrounding the campuses. Our district representatives had the opportunity to explain the state funding challenges to the district, the needs for our buildings and students, and show off the diverse programs we provide to our students.
