From spring through fall, the Marine Resources Committee and Northwest Straits Foundation regularly care for two restoration sites at Deception Pass State Park—Cornet Bay and Hoypus Point.
These restorations have helped return the shorelines to a more natural state, which is crucial for our local forage fish and salmon species. We maintain these sites by hosting regular weeding events and watering during the warmer months.
