Quick: You need road flares and a handheld stop sign to direct traffic. Where are those stored on the engine?
What about the chainsaw? Where can you find that?
And how do you perform an effective search to make sure victims aren’t trapped in a house fire?
That’s what our Stanwood-Camano School District fire cadets have spent the past few days practicing. We want these skills to be second nature by the end of the school year.
