The South Whidbey Record’s Kira Erickson reports from the Feb. 16 meeting of the Langley City Council. The city’s Public Works Advisory Committee (PWAC) has spent three months and $3,000 in legal fees on strengthening the city’s wireless code, but has nothing to show for it. The request to revise the code came from Langley citizen Mark Wahl, and was driven by Puget Sound Energy’s plan to install smart meters in the city.
