Congratulations to our September Employees of the Month award winners!
Elger Bay Elementary School teacher Tricia Drinnon earned the Certificated Employee of the Month. She was nominated by a fellow staff member who wrote that “over the past three years I have witnessed Tricia supporting, advocating, and making a difference for the struggling students at Elger Bay. She is open to helping all staff members and students. She conducts training on new intervention materials, inputs, tracks, and monitors data to help with intervention grouping and implementation.”
Carrie Counsellor, from our Technology Department, was honored as the Classified Employee of the Month. She was nominated by fellow staff members for her pivotal contributions to implementing our new website, newsletters, and messaging communication tools. “Carrie’s ability to quickly and deftly adapt to the numerous challenges and roadblocks that inevitably arise during such a significant technology transition has been nothing short of impressive,” according to the nomination.
The Certificated and Classified Employee of the Month recognition program honors employees who have shown outstanding commitment and dedication to their work on behalf of students, families, and the community.
