Thank you to our #OneOakHarbor community for attending the official groundbreaking and construction kick-off for Crescent Harbor Elementary School yesterday! This event continues to strengthen the partnership between Oak Harbor and Naval Air Station Whidbey Island while securing a brighter future for our students. We were honored to have NAS Whidbey Island Captain Nathan J. Gammache say a few words on behalf of our military community. Thank you to the city and state officials and retirees who led us to this historic moment for Oak Harbor, the State of Washington and the United States.

And a special thank you to Oak Harbor High School NJROTC Color Guard for our Flag Presentation and Crescent Harbor Elementary 4th grade music students led by teacher Benny Rawson who sang our national anthem. Our music program is supported from our local levy dollars.
