Our 2025 poster contest: A tradition of respect
The Stanwood-Camano School District posted this on its website on 2025-10-08 17:00:00.

Each year, students across the district use their creativity to take a stand against harassment, intimidation, and bullying through the annual HIB Poster Contest. This long-running tradition is a chance for students to send a powerful message: our schools are stronger when respect and empathy are at the center of everything we do.
Who can enter: The contest is open to all K-12 students, with entries submitted individually.
Entry guidelines: Posters (8.5×11 or 11×17): Should include a positive message or slogan with drawings or symbols.
Deadline: Submit to your school or teacher by Friday, October 31
Prizes: School-level winners will receive a certificate of participation. District-level first, second, and third place winners will earn prizes provided by the Stanwood-Camano Kiwanis.
Judging and recognition: Entries will be reviewed by the School Board, district staff, and community members. Winners will be announced at the School Board Meeting on November 18.
We are proud to continue this contest as a tradition that not only celebrates student creativity, but also reinforces our shared commitment to safe, supportive, and inclusive schools where every student can thrive.
