Island County Board of Commissioners – Meeting

The Board of Island County Commissioners meet in regular open session the first four Tuesdays of every month at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday meetings are televised via a videoconferencing link to Island County’s Camano Administrative Building, 121 N. East Camano Drive south of Camano Plaza and Camaloch Golf Course. A public comment period is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on the first four Tuesdays of each month. Topics of interest include: appointment of volunteers to three positions on the Board of Equalization; a public hearing on an application to build new roads in the county’s right-of-way to serve new development in Whispering Firs (near Freeland); and a public hearing on a new community septic system in the Maple Grove area of Camano Island.
