Last chance to see SHS students’ in Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing”
Stanwood High School’s fall play, Much Ado About Nothing, brings Shakespeare’s sparkling wit and timeless humor to the stage in a lively production packed with love, laughter, and clever twists.
Often hailed as the Bard’s most dazzling romantic comedy, Much Ado About Nothing follows the fast-talking Beatrice and Benedick — two sharp rivals whose verbal sparring hides a reluctant affection neither is willing to admit. Add in a cast of mischievous friends, mistaken identities, and tangled plots, and audiences are in for an evening of smart, spirited fun.
The play opened last weekend. The final two shows will be performed at 7 p.m. on November 14 and 15 in the Stanwood High School Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $8 ($7 for students with ASB), available at the door or online at shs.stanwood.wednet.edu/activities-events/performances (or via the button below or the GoFan app).
Don’t miss the chance to see Stanwood High School’s talented student performers bring Shakespeare’s humor and heart to life on stage.
