Modernizing and upgrading emergency communications systems is critical for rural communities because of the lack of cell phone service. That’s why I’m proud to have secured funding for improvements for Island County’s 911 system to improve public safety—and better connect Island County’s and Skagit County’s emergency infrastructure.
