January 16 is Temperance & Good Citizenship Day which promotes civics education and peaceful citizen engagement.
The Future Voter Program allows 16 and 17-year-olds who are U.S. Citizens and legal residents of Washington State to sign up and be automatically registered to vote once eligible.
