Make your appointment to save a life today and give blood at South Whidbey High School on Thursday, February 13th., hosted by the Honor Society. To sign up, visit https://www.bloodworksnw.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/redirectgroup.html?s=0782 or call 1-800-398-7888. Walk-ins are not guaranteed a spot, and they will be seen around scheduled donors. Photo I.D. Required for all donors.
If spots fill up at SWHS, this Valentine’s Week, find another location near you. No one’s telling you to skip the chocolate, the flowers, or heart-laced cards, but you can also honor that special someone in February by donating blood. Think of it as a Valentine to the community! It’s easy to do, and donation only takes an hour from check-in to post-donation cookies (actual donation time is only about 10 minutes). And you can be sure that our community appreciates it – because it’s needed. Patients rely on donated blood for cancer treatment, surgeries, and trauma situations. New and returning donors are urgently needed to maintain a safe and reliable blood supply for everyone in our community. As a donor, you’ll be helping the lives of patients and their loved ones. Can there be a better Valentine?
As an added bonus, those who donate blood in February can ENTER TO WIN 2 round trip airline tickets to Hawaii including luxurious hotel stay. For more information, visi https://www.bloodworksnw.org/win
