While we don’t see a single flake in the forecast yet, winter has a way of surprising us — so we want you to be ready.

Our updated snow routes for 2025-26 are now posted on our Transportation webpage. Please take a moment to view, print, or bookmark this year’s routes. Here’s why these Snow Routes are important: When snow or ice affects our roads, some bus pick-up and drop-off locations may shift from their normal spots.

Snow Routes

For a two-hour late start, simply add two hours to your student’s regular morning pick-up time listed online. During inclement weather drop-offs, please plan to be at the stop about 10 minutes earlier than usual.

Here’s a quick look at how we make decisions about delays or cancellations:

  • Safety comes first. We prioritize the well-being of our student riders, student drivers, families, and staff — including the team operating our buses.
  • Roads are inspected early. When weather is a concern, staff are on the road around 3 a.m., checking conditions across the district, watching for hazards, and assessing whether things are improving or worsening.
  • Communication happens quickly. We aim to announce the day’s status by 5 a.m. and begin notifying families and staff right away.
