1000 pounds! Congratulations Camano Island Chamber of Commerce and thank you Waste Wise and all the volunteers.
Thanks to composting at the 28th Annual Chili Chowder Cook-Off, we kept 1,000 pounds out of the landfill!
The same weight as:
- A hungry grizzly bear
- A tiny car engine & transmission
- 40 cases of water
- A baby grand piano
A huge thank you to WSU Waste Wise – Island County Kiwanis Aktion Club and @lenzenterprises for supporting us in this endeavor this year! And to all of you who followed the signs and placed trash appropriately!
