SOUTH WHIDBEY RECORD: Letter: Converting hotel to housing is illogical idea

Langley City Councilman Thomas Gill wrote a letter to the editor opposing the conversion of the Harbor Inn in Freeland to “homeless housing.” The letter was published in the Saturday, Jul. 2, 2022 edition of the South Whidbey Record.

Langley City Councilman Thomas Gill: This is literally the most illogical idea I’ve seen from an elected official since the steel-electric ferries were retired, for no logical reason, and no plans.

What we need on South Whidbey is more hotel rooms, especially in Langley and Freeland.
