DAVE PAUL: Ballots are here!
State Representative Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor) sent out the following email from his campaign account on Sun., Jul. 17, 2022.
Friends,
Primary ballots are now in the hands of voters. Unfortunately, CBS News is reporting that Republican State Leadership Committee (RLSC) is now targeting the Washington State House—that means that national Republican organizations are now trying to flip our seat. This is on top of the state-level conservative interests that are pouring tens of thousands of dollars into our district in an attempt to defeat our good work in the Legislature.
According to CBS News, “The committee’s expansion also comes in the immediate wake of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and empower state legislatures to decide whether women will have access to abortions.”
I hope that you agree that we need a representative who will stand up the harmful agenda of the Republican State Leadership Committee. Let’s show outside interests that we have a true grassroots campaign to protect women’s reproductive health, work to reduce healthcare costs, and support public education.

I’ve been working hard knocking on doors across our district to listen directly to residents about their concerns—I’ve visited Camano Island, Stanwood, Mount Vernon, and Oak Harbor in just the last week. And, I’m spending all of my efforts over the next 16 days talking directly to voters.
Every donation we receive now will go towards voter outreach and getting our message out to residents across the district ahead of the critical August 2nd Primary Election.
