Stanwood High School students and community partners are coming together for Spartans Serve, a Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service that turns a day of remembrance into a day of action.

On Friday, Jan. 16, Stanwood students will head out into the community to lend a helping hand — volunteering with local nonprofits, community organizations, and businesses on projects that make a real difference and honor Dr. King’s legacy of service.

Community groups are encouraged to join in by signing up to host student volunteers. Whether it’s a hands-on service project, help with organization, or extra support for the day, Spartans Serve is all about matching student energy with community needs.
