Check your contact information for emergency alerts

Following the recent December no-school days, a handful of families reached out to let us know about issues receiving emergency calls or texts.
We reviewed those cases and, in most cases, the messages were sent successfully. The issues were related to either incorrect contact information listed in Skyward or our phone number/email being blocked after previously being marked as spam by the user.
To help ensure you receive future emergency messages, please take a moment to:
- Confirm your phone number and email in Skyward and make updates as needed (ie. switch from an old landline to your cell phone number).
- Save 833-368-6178 in your cell phone contacts as “SCSD Alerts” to prevent calls or texts from being blocked.
