Nominations are now being accepted for the Stanwood High School Athletic Hall of Fame, which recognizes and honors outstanding student-athletes, coaches, teams, and contributors whose achievements and service have had a lasting impact on Stanwood athletics.

The Stanwood High School Athletic Hall of Fame reflects the full athletic history of Stanwood High School, Lincoln High School, and Twin City High School. Community members are encouraged to nominate individuals or teams who exemplify excellence, leadership, and dedication to the Spartan athletic tradition.

Nominations will be accepted through Feb. 15. Completed nomination forms should be emailed to stanwoodhalloffame@gmail.com.

The most recent Hall of Fame class was inducted during the 11th annual banquet last October and included six athletes — Sharon Cole, Brett Myron, Megan Amundson, Neil Knutson, Kaci Jones, and Isaac Teichgrab — along with coaches Dennis Kloke and Leonard Johannes, the 2009 Stanwood girls cross country team, the 1998 Stanwood baseball team, and the longtime volunteer members of the Spartan football chain gang.

The Stanwood High School Athletic Hall of Fame exists to celebrate the accomplishments and contributions that have shaped Spartan athletics across generations, honoring not only competitive success but also leadership, service, and community impact.
