If you’ve ever walked past a CHS English classroom and heard laughter, deep discussion, or the unmistakable sound of students being fully hooked… there’s a good chance Stefanie Ask is at work.

Stefanie is sagacious, witty, and endlessly engaging, with a teaching style that is equal parts rigorous and mesmerizing. Her students do not just learn English. They experience it. They laugh. They cry. They grow. They rise to her high expectations because they know she believes in them.

As our junior and senior English teacher, Stefanie brings sharp intellect, masterful instruction, and unwavering consistency to every class. Students trust her, respect her, and push themselves further because of it.

And beyond the classroom? Stefanie is an extraordinary theater teacher and advisor who helps students find confidence, courage, and their voice on stage and off. Add in legendary overalls, unforgettable storytelling, and a sourdough loaf so good it requires a staff lottery, and you have someone who makes CHS smarter, warmer, and more alive every single day.
