Stanwood High was filled with energy as students spent the afternoon learning, moving, and trying something new at this year’s Sports Clinic in celebration of #NationalGirlsAndWomenInSportsDay.

With guidance from our student-athletes and coaches, students rotated through activity stations that included tennis, volleyball, softball, basketball, wrestling, and track & field — picking up new skills, cheering each other on, and discovering sports they may not have tried before. The focus wasn’t competition, but confidence, curiosity, and connection.

Opportunities like this help show students that sports are welcoming spaces where they belong. By creating positive first experiences, we help open doors for lifelong participation, teamwork, and self-confidence.

Thank you to the student-athletes, coaches, and volunteers who made the afternoon such a success!
