Here’s a Postcard of the ferries at Clinton circa 1960. Text on reverse of it reads, “At Columbia Beach, often referred to as Clinton. This is the south Port of Whidbey Island, one of Puget Sound’s most popular resort areas.” Did you know that Clinton used to be called Columbia Beach? Or that Whidbey was considered a resort area?
