Teaching and learning in action!
On Thursday, members of our Academic Advisory Committee joined School Board directors and district leaders for a site visit at Stanwood High School.
The morning included visits to:
— Advisory classes focused on High School and Beyond Plans
— Math classrooms
— Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs
The visit concluded with time alongside our Superintendent’s Student Leadership Team (SSLT), giving committee members the opportunity to hear directly from students about their experiences and goals.
Our Academic Advisory Committee — part of our ABC Teams — includes parents, staff, and community members. Site visits like this help ensure those informing district priorities are grounded in firsthand experiences with students and teachers.
It’s one more way we stay aligned with our Strategic Plan — strengthening partnerships, focusing on continuous improvement, and ensuring every student is empowered to learn.
