Today’s City Council Meeting may have been a lighter agenda but we were honored to welcome the Irish Wildlife Society as Margaret from Oak Harbor Main Street Association read the Irish Heritage Month proclamation.

You are community. You are culture. You are volunteers who give your time and heart to keep traditions alive so it’s moments like these are exactly what local government is about, recognizing the people who make our city vibrant and connected.
Thank you for showing up and for reminding us that even when there isn’t much on our agenda, there is always room to celebrate community.
