DAVE PAUL: Community Updates

Dave has been hard at work across the district! Here’s a few community updates:
- On Monday, Dave was named a WA Skills Center Superhero! Washington Skills Centers–like the Northwest Career and Technical Academy in Mount Vernon and the Sno-Isle Tech Center in Everett–provides valuable job training and career pathways for high school students across our state.
- Dave toured the Snohomish County PUD Solar Project in Arlington to see how the PUD and our state are partnering to build a more resilient electric grid.
- Last week, Dave attended the groundbreaking of the Mount Vernon Library Commons Project. This project is a testament for what we can achieve when state, local, and federal leaders listen to community needs and work together!
We have some exciting events coming up as well!
- Saturday, Sept. 24th: Three campaigns in the 10th LD are having a day of action this coming Saturday Sept 24th, from 10:00 to 2:00. Please join us at 9:45 at the coffee shop in front of IGA on Camano. We will be knocking on doors until 2:00, and there will be a meet and greet with Dave, Clyde, and Janet right after. - We have two forums coming up: The Stanwood/Camano branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will be hosting a forum on Oct. 12th, and the League of Women Voters will be hosting a forum on Oct. 20th. More info to come!
